London and St. Thomas Association of REALTORS® Looking for Education Coordinator at London, Ontario, Canada Full Time

The London and St. Thomas Association of REALTORS® (LSTAR) is currently seeking a full-time Education Coordinator. This position will report to the Manager of Education, and they will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Education Department. The successful candidate will help LSTAR and our REALTOR® Members achieve a high level of compliance and professionalism in the industry and make REALTORS® the preferred choice in their communities.

Responsibilities include, (but are not limited to):

• Support the Education Department with day-to-day activities, including:
• Respond to Member inquiries from registration support for LSTAR’s in-person, online and asynchronous classes to support on LSTAR’s tools and technology, by phone or through the [email protected] email.
• Help develop and run classes, webinars, and other events.
• Create and update education calendars.
• Send reminders and other communications to registrants.
• Create and update documents, flyers, graphics, and web content for education-related initiatives.
• Track and update leadership on uptake, feedback, and other performance metrics.
• Understand and enforce LSTAR’s education-related policies (working with other Departments as necessary).
• Work with the Director and Manager of Education to create quizzes, videos, games, and other interactive learning tools to educate Members on timely and common compliance issues.
• Work with the Director and Manager of Education to identify opportunities and expand leadership development and upskilling to LSTAR Staff, Trainers, and Members.
• Contribute to reports for senior leadership and LSTAR’s Committees, Task Forces and Board of Directors as required.
• Provide occasional support for front-desk with phones and walk-ins.
• Perform other related activities, as necessary or as assigned.

Job Skills and Knowledge

• Self-motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Skilled Microsoft® Office user, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and ideally a working knowledge of graphic design and video-editing tools.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks without losing composure or compromising productivity in a fast-paced environment.
• Eager to learn, upskill and apply best practices.
• Ability to work under pressure; prioritize and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions

Full-time, contract position, Monday to Friday, 7 hours per day, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at LSTAR’s offices at 342 Commissioners Rd West in London, Ontario. The salary range for this position is $35,000-$55,000 annually, with two weeks of paid vacation the first year, three weeks of paid vacation in year two, followed by one additional day for every year employed at LSTAR up to a maximum of 30 days of paid vacation. Occasional attendance outside of these hours may be required for special events or to meet tight deadlines.
