The London District Catholic School Board is currently accepting applications for:
Adult & Continuing Education – English Teacher – 0.50 FTE
at St. Patrick Adult & Continuing Education
The Successful Candidate
Must have a Bachelor of Education Degree
Must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
Intermediate/Senior English Qualifications Required
Successful secondary teaching experience preferred
Proficiency with D2L preferred
Understanding of blended learning and on-line teaching pedagogy
Experience In a Catholic School Preferred
Previous experience in continuing education programs an asset
A working knowledge of the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations, Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession, and the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession
A practicing Catholic with a strong and active Catholic Faith life
Proficient knowledge & understanding of Ontario curriculum, evaluation & assessment techniques
Current in understanding of research, integrating technology and best instructional practices
Effective classroom management skills and ability to create a welcoming and safe Catholic learning environment for all student
