We are looking for an Accounts Payable / Payroll Administrator to process invoices and complete payroll for our company. The ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge of accounting software and be comfortable with a high-volume work environment. The successful candidate will have the ability to pay attention to details, consistency in operations and advanced key-boarding and data entry skills.

Responsibilities:

• Post journal entries
• Complete month end reporting
• Project Job Costing
• File invoices and receipts
• Monitor cash flow
• Reconcile vendor accounts
• Check that invoices are accurate and consistent with company policies and procedures
• Complete payroll and government remittances
• Work in a fast-paced environment

Skills required:

• Proficient use of Sage 50 Accounting
• Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• High level of integrity and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently as well as with others

Education and Work Experience:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Minimum two years accounting/bookkeeping experience required
• Certificate/Diploma in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
• Knowledge of the Plumbing/Construction Industry would be an asset
