Are you passionate about technology and improving processes and systems?
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic Junior Business Analyst for our Calgary branch to deliver consultative services directly to our clients and build relationships with our stakeholders and project teams!
A Day in the Life:
- Perform needs analysis, gather, document, and analyze business and technical processes & documentation and provide recommendations for solutions and business process modifications
- Create and maintain Service Now reporting for queue management
- Work with client leadership to improve responsiveness on tickets
- Create & Maintain reporting by Service Now support group for Management & above level for visibility into
- Where needed, provide managers with detailed reporting on their volumes and frequent issues
- Create and Maintain reporting for more detail analysis where needed and desired by managers
- Help with scorecard creation for individual team members
- Work with technical teams to turn end user and business issues into documented processes or technical solution documentation
- Manage stakeholder needs, especially when conflicting, to drive stakeholders to a consensus
What You Bring:
- 2+ years’ professional IT industry experience in a business analyst or Service Desk Technical Lead role within a complex consulting environment and with multi-technology solutions including SharePoint, Service Now, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, SAP, Dynamics, and Windows
- 2+ years of Incident Management experience
- Understanding of ITIL framework specifically around change and problem management
- Experience with ITSM tool reports (creation, modification, and analysis)
- Experience creating dashboards through ServiceNow or PowerBI
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Reporting and data interpretation experience
- Articulate and proficient public speaking skills with the ability to host and deliver presentations to clients, explain trends gathered from data
