Job Summary:
As a Social Media Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in executing our social media strategy and engaging our online community. Working closely with the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating compelling content, managing social media channels, analyzing performance metrics, and contributing to the overall growth of our brand on various platforms.
Location: Vancouver BC
Pay Rate: $21.8- $32 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop engaging and shareable content for our social media channels, including but not limited to text, images, videos, and graphics, while maintaining a consistent brand voice and tone.
- Social Media Management: Monitor, schedule, and publish posts across all social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other emerging channels.
- Community Engagement: Engage with our followers and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly, fostering a positive and interactive online community.
- Social Media Analytics: Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices to ensure our strategies are cutting-edge and impactful.
- Collaborate with Marketing Team: Work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.
- Reporting and Insights: Generate regular reports on social media performance, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their respective best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- A creative and innovative approach to content creation and social media strategies.
