Job Description We are looking for an Automotive Mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles and transmission systems. Lottridge Tire is hiring an experienced Automotive Service Mechanic to join our fast-paced, Retail GTA location. As the ideal candidate, you are Red Seal certified and have a strong background in general vehicle maintenance. You are customer service oriented, enjoy working with a high energy team in a retail environment and you thrive in achieving excellence in quality and service.
Responsibilities:
- Repair automobiles, trucks, buses, and other motor vehicles
- Specialize in vehicle transmission systems
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a mechanic
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Foreman/CVIP/OPI certification is considered an asset.
- You have the ability to excel in a physically demanding environment that includes heavy lifting and moving constantly throughout your shift.
- You are methodical and patient in your approach; you have a keen eye for detail.
