Role Description
Step into a full-time role that flexes with your lifestyle – fully remote or hybrid in Calgary, your choice. You’ll help catapult our revenue growth, not just by identifying and nurturing leads, but by providing businesses with a solution to thrive in the evolving technological landscape.
Here’s the deal: you spot potential clients, create leads, and guide them through our pipeline, coordinating meetings with the CEO. For the short-term our CEO will play the closing role, and you’ll be there supporting us, ensuring the final steps go smoothly. Additionally, you’ll have the support of a team that values your lead-generating prowess.
Expect a little “startup” spice—our sales & BD methods are young, and your insights into refining our processes, tools, and strategies will be welcomed.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive lead generation through prospecting, cold calling, emailing, and other outreach strategies, maintaining a steady pipeline.
- Assist in defining the ideal customer profile (ICP) and strategies to target them effectively.
- Understand and address prospective client needs, presenting our services as the ideal solution.
- Oversee the sales cycle from initiation to qualification and collaborate with the CEO and relevant teams to close deals.
- Document all sales activities in our CRM (Hubspot) and continually refine the sales & business development process.
- Work with the marketing team to fine-tune lead generation campaigns.
- Explore new market opportunities to enhance business growth and stay attuned to market trends and competitor activities.
- Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales and account management, preferably in a consulting or technology firm
- Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales goals and successfully managing a high volume of sales activity
- A self-starter attitude
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders across all levels
- An inherent drive to succeed and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, with flexibility and adaptability to evolving sales needs
- Proficient in using CRM platforms, LinkedIn, and other sales management tools. Hubspot experience is a plus.
- Thorough understanding of market trends, industry insights, and knowledge of client needs to successfully position products and services
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- A passion for collaborating with others, and the desire to consistently learn and grow in the field of Sales & Business Development
- Familiarity with professional, IT-type service offerings is a plus.

Salary
$72,000 – $78,000 / year + Commission (Structure TBD)
