The Lutsel k’e Housing Authority is currently accepting applications for the position of Housing Foreman.
The successful applicant will report directly to the Manager of the Lutsel k’e Housing Authority. The incumbent will be expected to administer the maintenance management program and will be responsible for all routine and preventative maintenance for approximately 43 public Housing units, 22 Help/Market units, shop, office and any other NWT Housing Corporation assets.
Qualifications required: Completion of a trade related certificate (such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, oil burner or housing maintainer program), and extensive experience in the field of residential housing maintenance. Stock inventory management and experience working the Webwork computer program would be an asset. Other experience and/or equivalencies will be considered. Preference will be given to Journeyman Oil Burner Mechanic. Must have a valid Class 5 NWT Driver’s License and clean criminal record. Closing date is January 3, 2020.
This position is located in Lutselk’e, Northwest Territories and the successful candidate must be willing to relocate to the community.
