MAC Renovations Ltd. is an award-winning design/build residential renovation firm based in Victoria, BC. Our business is primarily renovations, but we have recently expanded into the Custom-Built home market.

We are expanding again and are looking for conscientious, reliable, and multi-talented renovation carpenters for long-term employment.

We currently have 2 openings for carpenters to join our top-notch team. We are seeking 1 Red Seal Carpenter and 1 informally trained carpenter.

The preferred candidate will have skills in the following areas:

• A wide variety of experience in the field
• Familiarity with multiple eras of home construction – 1900 – 2000’s
• Strong work ethic with leadership capability
• Excellent problem solving and the ability to think on your feet
• Able to communicate well with Mac team, clients, and public
• Understands the value of a family based, home-grown company
• Ability to read building plans and details and execute with accuracy
• Concrete cribbing
• Structural framing – walls, floors, roofs, stairs
• Interior and exterior trim carpentry
• Building envelope – including rain screen and siding
• Window and door installation
• Drivers Licence
• Fall arrest training
• Occupational First Aid Level 1
