MageMontreal Looking for Talent Acquisition Specialist at Remote Full Time

TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST/HR ADMINISTRATOR – FULLY REMOTE

We are looking for a highly motivated talent acquisition specialist to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked in a recruitment agency setting and wants to add HR to their skill set!

We are an established e-commerce consulting firm that specializes in Magento (a website platform owned by Adobe). We have offices in Montreal; however our team is spread across the globe and all employees work remotely. In addition to working fully remote we offer flexible hours to fit your busy schedule! We also offer a training/education allowance for any course work that you would like to take to support you in your position.

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist/HR Administrator you will be the first point of contact for potential new hires as well as the internal HR contact for existing employees.

Responsibilities:

Lead all recruitment efforts, this includes:

• Collaborate with the team to evaluate the skills required
• Write job postings
• Screen applications
• Conduct screening interviews with candidates
• Select qualified candidates in collaboration with the hiring manager

HR administration, this includes:

• Maintain the employee RRSP accounts
• Evaluate employee benefits packages
• Organize and manage the employee performance evaluation process
• Handle immigration requests in collaboration with our immigration lawyer
• Collaborate with operations to improve the onboarding process for new hires
• Employer branding
• Represent MageMontreal at networking events to recruit/scout talent, and attend job fairs
• Recommend HR events the company should attend to increase employer brand recognition
• Coordinate team building events to upkeep team spirit
• Collaborate with operations to establish career paths

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of agency recruitment experience – required
• Bilingual in French and English – required
• Strong organizational skills
• Highly motivated wit the ability to work independently
• Excellent inter-personal skills
