About The Role

As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in driving our Industry 4.0 and Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives specifically focused on optimizing our manufacturing processes for exterior trim parts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to provide insights and solutions that enhance our manufacturing operations, including co-extrusion, assembly, and molding

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, define, and prioritize Industry 4.0 and AI projects that optimize our manufacturing processes for exterior trim parts.
• Develop and implement data-driven models and algorithms that leverage machine learning and AI techniques to improve operational efficiency, quality, and productivity in co-extrusion, assembly, and molding.
• Employ statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques to identify trends, patterns, and areas for process improvement.
• Clean, preprocess, and validate large datasets related to co-extrusion, assembly, and molding to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Design experiments, conduct A/B testing, and perform statistical analysis to measure the impact of proposed solutions on manufacturing operations.
• Communicate findings and results in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders, including management, engineers, and manufacturing teams.

Who We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role, with a focus on AI and Industry 4.0 projects, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques, deep learning frameworks, and statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is desirable.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to present complex data insights effectively

Your Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets related to co-extrusion, assembly, and molding processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers and manufacturing personnel.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prior experience or knowledge of exterior trim parts manufacturing processes, specifically co-extrusion, assembly, and molding, is a plus
