About the Role
As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in driving our Industry 4.0 and Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives specifically focused on optimizing our manufacturing processes for exterior trim parts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to provide insights and solutions that enhance our manufacturing operations, including co-extrusion, assembly, and molding
Your Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, define, and prioritize Industry 4.0 and AI projects that optimize our manufacturing processes for exterior trim parts.
Develop and implement data-driven models and algorithms that leverage machine learning and AI techniques to improve operational efficiency, quality, and productivity in co-extrusion, assembly, and molding.
Employ statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques to identify trends, patterns, and areas for process improvement.
Clean, preprocess, and validate large datasets related to co-extrusion, assembly, and molding to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Design experiments, conduct A/B testing, and perform statistical analysis to measure the impact of proposed solutions on manufacturing operations.
Communicate findings and results in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders, including management, engineers, and manufacturing teams.

Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role, with a focus on AI and Industry 4.0 projects, preferably in the automotive industry.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques, deep learning frameworks, and statistical analysis.
Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is desirable.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to present complex data insights effectively
Your preferred qualifications
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets related to co-extrusion, assembly, and molding processes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers and manufacturing personnel.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Prior experience or knowledge of exterior trim parts manufacturing processes, specifically co-extrusion, assembly, and molding, is a plus
Accommodations for disabilities in relation to the job selection process are available upon request.
