The Accounting Coordinator – Treasury will be primarily responsible for daily cash movement as part of the treasury team, including the processing of payment transactions and related accounting entries. This is an incredible entry level opportunity for recent graduates interested in the world of finance and treasury, and to join a growing finance team. We are looking for someone who can be nimble and is eager to work hard as we continue to grow!

What You Will Accomplish

• Set up of online bill and wire payments in a timely manner
• Coordinating with all relevant stakeholders to ensure all payment backups are provided
• Assisting with month end close and process journal entries
• Maintain and organize the treasury records and reconciliations
• Download daily and monthly bank statements
• Assisting with internal and external audit request
• Assist in general treasury or administrative project activities
• Process employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company expense policies
• Support both the accounts payable and tax functions within various areas

We’re looking for someone who checks off most, but not all, of the boxes. It’s more important to us to find a candidate who can display indicators of success through skills they have developed and experience they have been a part of, than to find folks who have “been there, done that”. We want to be a part of your development journey, and we’ll learn as much from you as you learn from us.

There are a few must haves, but we will keep that list short:

• Post-secondary Education in Business Accounting or Finance
• Excellent organizational skills to manage issues, projects and deadlines
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Diplomacy, tact, and professionalism when interacting with all team members
