Mahil Optometry Looking for Manager, Office Operations (Medical Optometry Office) at Brampton, ON Full Time

Our multi-optometrist clinic is an established full-scope family practice with an emphasis on state-of-the-art eye care, personalized service and quality eyewear. With over 30 years of community-based patient care, the Mahil Optometry team cares about ensuring that patients receive the best-in-class care and products.

We are looking for a dynamic, organized and detail-oriented leader who will be responsible for the operations of our optometric practice, supporting our team and growing our business. We consider this leadership position to be the heartbeat of our clinic and the voice of our culture. Responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with Optometrists, dispensing opticians, and optometric assistants to provide excellent patient care
• Supervise and support all staff on a daily basis to ensure all procedures are being followed and foster collaboration and teamwork amongst team members
• Ensuring that scheduling of Optometrists is a key focus for the practice and aligned with goals and targets
• Oversee Administrative activities including medical records (EMR), data entry, scanning, and miscellaneous admin jobs.
• Assist team in competing all diagnostic exams using our state-of-the-art equipment (training will be provided)
• Recruit, train, coach, discipline and manage team members as necessary
• Manage practice budgets with understanding of financial reports and key metrics that support successful practice operations
• Be familiar with the use of social media and marketing practices
• Become the super-user of our practice management and EMR systems (training will be provided)

Our ideal candidate has 5+ years of leadership experience and is self-motivated to grow and learn. An optical or medical background, while a definite asset, is not a prerequisite. The following describes our ideal candidate:
