We are currently looking for a driven Account Manager for the UK market. Reporting to the Senior VP of Sales and Marketing, you will be accountable for driving the strategy and sales plan required to deliver our European market growth plans.
Responsibilities:
· Evaluate, develop and execute sales strategy for multiple assigned accounts and brands;
· Complete management and execution of all phases of selling cycle;
· Develop Battat’s business on assigned accounts through effective business planning using an
analytical approach to understand opportunities, strengths and objectives of account;
· Gain and maintain distribution, securing effective shelf position, promotional and marketing support
for the assigned brands;
· Report on key results and metrics related to assigned market;
· Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets;
· Continuously review sales performance and profitability against sales objectives;
· Monitor competition to identify new trends and opportunities within the market;
· Form strong relationships with all key external and internal customers and provide effective solutions
to challenges.
Skills, Competencies & Optimal Requirements:
· Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of growing business
· Strong knowledge of retail sales
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
· Strong Excel and analytical skills
· Detail-oriented, adaptable, self-motivated and solution-focused
· Ability to communicate results to executive stakeholders
· Have a strong entrepreneurial mindset, and be excited by an agile, changing, and dynamic culture
· Ability to balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives
· Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
· 5+ years’ national sales, account management or business development experience
· Retail or consumer packaged goods experience required, preferably within the toy industry
· Experience living in or working in the UK, Europe or other international markets preferred
· Previous experience managing national accounts for a similar company (an asset)
· Experience working with e-commerce (an asset)
