Job Description
Individual Responsibilities:
Lead strategic sourcing projects and design, execute procurement strategy
Support strategic sourcing projects following a 7-step sourcing methodology
Determine sourcing strategy and conduct analysis and negotiations
Influence requirements from business partners vital to evaluate and select suppliers
Conduct baseline and market analysis, develop sourcing strategy and conduct contract negotiations
Conduct benchmarking and opportunity assessment
Build presentations which highlight relevant business process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
Build presentations for executive leadership
Suggest and make changes in existing processes and metrics to increase efficiency & effectiveness
Engage with partners to increase data driven decision making
Provide sourcing thought leadership and day-to-day oversight of resource activities
Manage relations with key business partners and project owners to develop/maintain strong working relationships
Support vendor managers in execution of business led initiatives as necessary

Job Requirements:
Post graduate degree (MBA Preferred)
5+ years of progressive business/ Strategy consulting
Experience in corporate strategy products
Good knowledge of sourcing and procurement fundamentals and standard methodologies
Good knowledge of data analysis
Experience in developing operational strategies
Advanced MS Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint skills
Experience with sourcing and procurement systems and tools
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent presentation and report writing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally, comfortable with multi-tasking
Familiar with Manulife’s business operations, strategies, and financial environment

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.
Primary Location
CAN, Ontario, Toronto, 200 Bloor Street East
Salary range is expected to be between
$84,375.00 CAD – $151,875.00 CAD
