The Opportunity
Putting the customer at the center of what we do, the Business Consultant on our Canada Retirement, Member Processing team is accountable for Thinking Big, representing & supporting the fast pace of the Member Processing team in business initiatives and projects, as well as internal processing driven initiatives.
Working closely with internal and external partners, the Business Consultant is expected to create and maintain strong relationships with business peers to meet/exceed our service level commitments and look for opportunities to improve on how we service our customers.
Responsibilities
Systematically gathers information and breaks problems down to identify cause and effect relationships, patterns, and underlying issues; evaluates feasibility and practicality of ideas and options; makes informed and timely decisions.
Thinks conceptually beyond day-to-day business realities; understands how circumstances and trends will impact the business.
Supports business growth through business initiatives & projects
Conduct end to end process reviews and documentation updates
Support implementation and execution of member processing driven initiatives and improvement actions.
Conducts cost-benefit analysis
Represent Canadian Retirement Member Processing in projects, initiatives, and department meetings, ensuring accurate representation of the business needs and realities, impacts, and costs/benefits; ensure priority items and impacts are addressed to Director ASAP.
Regularly review and assess volumes to plan, projected forecasts, staffing plans and headcount, and communicate recommendations, concerns and gaps to management and WFM.

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.
Primary Location
Montreal, Quebec
Salary range is expected to be between
$68,250.00 CAD – $113,750.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
