THE POSITION
As a Copywriter, you are a master storyteller. You understand the importance of insight-driven ideas and are able to translate complicated concepts into compelling and emotive copy that resonates with the target audience and delivers intended business outcomes. In this role you will have the opportunity to conceptualize and produce a wide array of long and short-form narratives for different distribution channels, including but not limited to: email, mobile web/web, blog, social, digital, audio scripts, sales collateral, presentations and more. If you have experience producing attention-grabbing content that people chose to spend time with, we want to hear from you.
This role will work collaboratively with key stakeholders across varying cross-functional teams such as Communications, Product Marketing, Growth Marketing and Business Development. You will distill briefs to ensure clarity of objectives and core messages are aligned to deliver intended business outcomes. The Copywriter is accountable to work alongside the Design Lead to conceptualize and deliver high-quality content within a deadline-oriented environment.
Reporting directly to the Director of Content, the Copywriter is a key individual contributor position critical in supporting the continued growth and scale of the company.
Success in this role requires a demonstrated ability to communicate concepts and ideas through short and long formats that are aligned to a broader content strategy and reflect Brand personality and voice. You are comfortable presenting and expressing your creative thinking, and are experienced in managing stakeholder feedback and expectations. You Have a proven ability to manage project intake of copy-related requests, assess resourcing and prioritization needs; work to drive project timelines and ensure all key milestones are met; anticipate and manage any potential blockers; proactively find solutions across lofi concept development, production and delivery phases.
As the Copywriter, you will demonstrate exceptional communications skills and write in a clear, concise and convincing manner. This role will maintain current knowledge of emerging industry trends and competitive analysis while ensuring adherence to brand editorial guidelines, accessibility, medical and legal requirements.
Note: a healthcare background is not required for this position, however, it may be considered an asset depending on the level of experience.
12-18 MONTH DELIVERABLES
Within 90 days, you will have conducted a content audit, refreshed messaging matrices, and reset a clear operational process that enables you to hit deadlines while simultaneously working on multiple projects across our B2C, B2B and B2I portfolio.
You will have evaluated the metrics to help inform your understanding of what needs to be adjusted and tested next. The result will be to quickly ship (we value progress not perfection), learn and identify what can be iterated on and/or scaled.
In the next 12-18 months, you will fully implement the appropriate messaging matrix, tools and metrics you’ve built to build, scale and grow the velocity of customer-facing copy delivery, including institutionalizing processes to measure success, establishing aspirational yet attainable operational targets to track improvements, strategically allocating resources to maximize ROI, and delivering a results-driven copy discipline that is able to scale with the company.
You will have established a robust tone of voice and language guidelines across owned and paid channels, and are consistently practicing and evolving how we communicate to our customers through our various portfolios to ensure brand consistency.
