Maple walls and ceilings ltd Looking for Site Supervisor at Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Full Time

· Procure materials and equipment with vendors.

· Manage manpower to meet schedules and deadlines.

· Monitor safety requirements and safety program documents

· Ensure all work on sites is completed to Drywall’s quality standards.
· Allocation of resources across all active projects with the goal to maximize productivity, efficiency and mitigate costs.

· Supervise Site Foreman’s to ensure on time delivery and successful completion of projects.

· Ensure clients expectations are met and exceeded on the projects.

· Solve work-related problems and recommend measures aimed at increasing productivity.

· Understand the project plans/specifications to identify possible cost savings measures, and potential construction problems on sites.

· Manage and look ahead as required to proactively identify issues that could lead to project delays.

· Coordinate with Safety Manager to ensure all employees and contractors adhere to safety policy/standards to maintain a safe job site, prevent injuries.

Position Qualifications:

· Strong knowledge of Wall & Ceiling Trade is required, Experience in Same position is an asset.

· Ability to resolve problems in a professional and timely manner.

· Minimum 5 years of multi-site experience as a superintendent/ Operations Manager in the construction industry with commercial and industrial construction.

· Certificate/diploma or Trade Qualification is considered an asset.

· Understanding of the project schedules critical path.

· Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

· Positive attitude.

· Strong computer skills (Use of online platform to access project data and drawings)
