Work Schedule
Monday – Saturday, between the hour of 8 am – 5 pm;
Three (3) to Five (5) hours per day.
Job Summary
South Mountain Community College is hiring tutors. This position provides learning assistance in the subjects of one or more of the following:
Essential Functions
90% – Provides one-on-one and small group tutoring services, online and/or in-person at South Mountain Community
10% – Participates in office functions; supports advising functions; performs other related duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications
Current or recently graduated student with experience tutoring:
Mathematics, Science, English, Accounting, Business Statistics and/or Computer Information Systems
OR
Passed the following SMCC courses or their equivalent with a B average or greater:
MAT221, BIO201, CHM152, CHM235, PHY121, PHY131, ENG102, ACC212, CIS105, and/or GBS221
