Marsim Auto Group Looking for Automotive Warranty Administrator at Toronto, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Role Description

The Warranty Administrator will be responsible for processing warranty and internal repair orders for multiple dealerships, as well as assisting with various duties at the service desk such as Business Development.

Major Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Submit Warranty Claims in compliance with dealership policies
• Close out all warranty work orders daily
• Create and submit all warranty claims and extended warranty claims
• Follow up on any outstanding warranty claims to keep receivables current on a regular basis
• Identify exceptional cases which may result in special agreements with the Head Office; completes the required documents and follows up
• Analyze claims denied by the manufacturer/supplier and, if applicable, re-submit them as soon as possible or obtain authorization to cancel them
• Keep current on all new technical bulletins and open recall campaigns
• Ensure claims are in compliance and accurate documentation retained for audit purposes
• Work with accounting and Service Manager on warranty follow-up i.e.. Missing claims, charge backs and denied claims
• Maximize claim eligibility
• Other duties as required

Experience:

• Dealership Experience: 1 year (required)
• Previous experience as a Warranty Administrator with a strong focus on Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis cars: 1 year (required)
• Administrative Experience: 1 year (preferred)
