Virtual English Teacher, this is a part-time position. The ideal candidate would need to be flexible on weekends and a minimum of 2 weekdays.
Master Choice Learning is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable English teacher who enjoys working with students from K-G6.
DUTIES:
– Have good knowledge of Ontario Curriculum
– Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials
– Direct and guide students in learning
– Collect and mark homework
– Communicate with administration about class progress
– Other duties may arise from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
– 5+ years of experiences Teaching English (Ontario Curriculum)
– Eligibility to work in Canada
– OCT certification
– Education or University Degree from a Canadian university
Duties and Responsibilities
· Encourage high standards in student progress and level of understanding in English;
· Support and motivate students to challenge themselves as learners;
· Teach individual students in one-on-one settings and in small group;
· Customize teaching methods to meet the learning styles of students;
· Complete learning summary after each session for students to critical reflect on lesson taught;
· Create individualized, curriculum-based teaching plans for each student based on his or her assessment;
· Deliver lessons with the aim of achieving the objectives of our institution.
