Mathnasium Richmond Hill Looking for Part-Time Math Tutor at Richmond Hill, ON Full Time

The Mathnasium franchise operates year-round math-only learning centres for kids in Grades 1 through to 12. Our mission is to significantly increase children’s math skills, understanding of math concepts, and overall school performance, while building confidence and forging a positive attitude toward the subject of mathematics. We are currently accepting applications for the position of Math Instructors. Key Responsibilities: – Teach children, following Mathnasium method and processes. – Inspire confidence in students from grades 1 to 12. – Work as part of a team to create a positive and dynamic learning environment. – Help students with homework, test prep & study skills Qualifications: – Applicants MUST be able to teach Grade 12 math. This is NOT A REMOTE ROLE. Applicants MUST be present at our location in Richmond Hill – Knowledge of Mathematical concepts and a passion for teaching math. – Experience working with children in an educational setting – Outgoing, enthusiastic, and caring nature. Centre Hours: Mon to Thurs afternoons; Saturdays.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary: $16.00-$23.00 per hour

Experience:

• teaching: 1 year (preferred)
