Matrix is hiring General Labourers for an ongoing/possible long-term position in Victoria, BC. Day shifts, continuous work. There are opportunities for growth and training to become drillers. The pay rate is $24.46/ hr. For more than 30 years, our client has successfully completed excavation and construction projects on Vancouver Island, from blasting to shotcrete shoring, with a focus on the needs of the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shovelling
- Drilling
- Heavy lifting within reason
- Other tasks as required
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Previous construction/ general labourer experience
- Own PPE
