MaxPeople Looking for Senior HR Business Partner at Toronto, ON Full Time

Our Ideal Candidate

The HR Consultant will be responsible for managing the life cycle of HR projects, including onboarding, compensation, performance management, strategic planning, employee engagement, employee relations, conflict management, policy & procedures, compliance, health & safety, organizational design, and learning and development.

You have five (5)+ years of true HR Generalist experience (full employee life cycle) working independently or as a part of a small HR team. You are directly involved in understanding the needs of your key stakeholders, creating and executing best in class HR solutions related to all of the employee life cycle stages mentioned above.

You will be an influencer to our internal HR team, and actively identify areas of development/improvement and overcoming them together as a team! By having Rodney Employment Law as our valued legal partner, you will have access to a dynamic and reputable team of employment lawyers and paralegals to assist, guide and mentor you on employment law matters.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Previous experience working in highly entrepreneurial organizations as the solo HR professional and building HR infrastructure from the ground up
• An inquisitive approach in questioning the status quo
• Expertise in creating innovative HR solutions from scratch
• A learning and growth mindset – always looking for ways to improve and step up your game!
• Ability to influence, negotiate and facilitate with confidence and passion
• An agile approach to tackling HR projects & deliverables that vary (strategic & tactical)
• Values driven with a high sense of integrity and strong work ethic
• Bachelors Degree with CHRL/CHRP designation is mandatory
• 5 + years of senior level HR experience (HR Consultant, Sr.HR Generalist, HR Business Partner or equivalent) is a requirement
• Previous experience working in a boutique consulting firm is a strong asset
