Job Description – Teacher
Mayn
Mayn is looking for engaging and passionate teachers/tutors. Mayn offers online classes to kids in life-skills and foundational academic subjects. Mayn has created courses in emotional wellbeing, financial literacy and math facts for elementary students. Mayn course content will cover areas such as financial literacy, critical thinking, stress management, coping skills, and many other courses that focus on the whole child to develop empathetic, balanced, mindful, and confident young adults.
Compensation
$25-30/hour

Teachers will work closely with the team to:
- Deliver our course material to students in a highly engaging manner
- Support the safe space, online, learning environment
- Be part of the team to help create new courses.
- Opportunity to help expand the business and get in at the beginning of this exciting venture.
Who are you
We are looking for someone to lead the launch and scaling of Mayn, initially in Toronto and eventually across North America.
- You will have experience teaching kids at the elementary and middle school level.
- You have a passion for education, and common goal, of providing children the skills necessary to build a better society.
- You will have a keen interest and comfort level in teaching in one of the following areas; Emotional wellbeing, Financial literacy and/or Math.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and high energy.
- You can provide a valid police check/vulnerable sector check conducted in the last year.
