Are you ready to join an innovative and supportive team as a People Resources Business Partner (Human Resources BP) as we drive best-in-class employee experiences and build a future workforce in cybersecurity at McAfee? You will serve as a trusted advisor for employees throughout Canada and in various business areas. You’ll also work internationally beyond Canada and create partnerships with leadership across multiple functions aligned with West Coast USA time zone.

The People Resources Business Partner’s mission is to align business goals with employee and management needs across McAfee’s specific functions and regions ensuring the workforce is fully leveraged to meet business objectives. Collaborating closely with leadership, you’ll offer strategic HR guidance aimed at delivering value to the business. Your focus on solutions rather than mere process and your ability to develop relationships within all levels of the business will be integral to your success in this role.

This is a remote position based in Canada. We will only consider candidates in Canada and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About The Role

• Act as a key point of contact for regional and functional requirements. Build strong relationships with employees, managers, and other stakeholders
• Partner with stakeholders to build a high-performing organization as McAfee continues to evolve
• Collaborate with leadership to align HR and human capital strategy against evolving business objectives
• Work directly with executive leadership
• Manage employee relations with Compliance and Legal teams to facilitate solutions for workplace disputes
• Project manage organizational change initiatives and transformations
• Partner with broader HR team on program development and enhancements
• Drive employee engagement initiatives including diversity and inclusion initiatives
• Utilize HR metrics and data analytics to make informed decisions and provide strategic insights
• Experience delivering change management in a start-up environment

About You

• At least 7 years experience in a People Partner / HR Partner role
• Solid knowledge of Canadian employment/labor laws
• Working understanding of general Human Resources policies and procedures
• Experience working with executive leadership
• Proficient with MS Office, SharePoint, HRIS systems (e.g. WorkDay)
• Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication, documentation, and people skills
• Comfortable working across all levels of leadership
• Experience working as part of an international (remote) team
• Ability to work autonomously, be self-sufficient, and are comfortable making decisions independently
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, flexible work environment; ability to problem solve and deliver on the go
