The Role
This position is responsible for acting as the primary sales contact for Associate status brokers and non-registered brokers. The Account Manager, Inside Sales position is a strategic sales role intended to grow Associate status brokers and to add value to brokers by demonstrating how MCAP can help and positively impact their business. The primary responsibility is to retain and grow existing business with current MCAP registered Associate status brokers/agents and develop and acquire net new business with brokers/agents not currently registered with MCAP.
The Account Manager, Inside Sales performs this role primarily by developing relationships and uncovering opportunities using technology (i.e. phone, email, Salesforce.com, and social networking) and BDM referrals. The successful Account Manager, Inside Sales thrives in a fast-paced selling environment, cares deeply about the broker, and uncovers opportunities by attention to detail and consistent engagement. The initiative is to “Become an MCAP Expert” on products, programs and Professor, evangelizing our benefits to all brokers and accelerating migration to status.
The Account Manager, Inside Sales will be accountable for annual achievement of specific targets set at the beginning of each fiscal year. The primary focus is on funded volume specific to net new origination, refinance and broker satisfaction with additional targets based on other business unit priorities as set by the VP, Sales (i.e. high ratio vs. conventional split).
