This posting is for two to four unionized contractual appointments. A Teaching Assistant is a Graduate Student employed to assist the Course Supervisor as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom environment. Teaching Assistant Positions are governed by the Collective Agreement between McGill University and the Association of Graduate Students Employed at McGill (AGSEM).

Position Summary:
Required Duties:
- Manage laboratory experiences for undergraduates, including presentation and grading
- Assist instructor with maintaining the record of grade, set up the library of questions for the final examination.
- Manage remote delivery of laboratory related work and correspondence with students
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in physical education, kinesiology or equivalent. Successfully completed course in Motor Development and at least one other course in the social-behavioral sciences of Physical Education
Please note that given the planned resumption of most in-person teaching activities, Teaching Assistants will be required on campus to perform their tasks in person. Should government restrictions prohibit the resumption of in-person teaching activities, courses will revert to remote teaching. In the event of such a change, Teaching Assistants will be advised as soon as possible. Teaching Assistants may be required to perform tasks suited to a remote/online teaching environment using a virtual learning platform [e.g., Zoom, WebEx] and the McGill myCourses learning management system.
