THIS IS A HYBRID (1 day per week on-site) TEMPORARY 4-MONTH CONTRACT with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time permanent role.
The Associate Transportation Analyst has the responsibility to assist the National Transportation and Regional team in supporting McKesson Canada to achieve its objective of improving overall transportation processes efficiency and the quality of services. Working in conjunction with national and regional operations management, the role will support Transportation freight pay & audit, and reverse logistics.
Working closely with the National Transportation Centre of Excellence, and key business stakeholders, the Associate Transportation Analyst will support the following:
Provide national support and business analytics in “Freight Audit and Pay” and Reverse Logistics, with a specific focus on Claims Management and Fuel Surcharge schedule compliance.
Collaborate with the National Transport Team by:
Mapping the current state of the process
Identify evaluation criteria
Analyzing the root causes of non-conformance.
Identifying opportunities for improvement through audit.
Work with regions to set recovery initiatives where applicable.
Run simulation and what if scenarios to identify improvement opportunities.
Perform training on procedures and ensure implementation of new practices.
Prepare presentations for management regarding the recommendations of various studies and transportation projects.
