DUTIES
Reporting to the Business Systems Analyst, the successful applicant will perform skilled technical work to support and maintain the donor and alumni database and related applications. Duties include unit specific data entry and data updates as provided by the Office of Development and the Office of Alumni Engagement as assigned by the Business Systems Analyst, supporting the integrity of records in the donor and alumni database and assisting in the maintenance and enrichment of the records; ensuring data standards procedures and processes are followed and updating any records not found to be in compliance with these standards; maintaining accurate electronic and paper records; and performing other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience (1-3 years) in data and/or information management combined with graduation from a two year diploma in a related field such as information management, computer science or library science. Completion of a related degree program would be an asset. Equivalent combinations of education and experience, including completion of a diploma or degree in another discipline supplemented by an post-diploma program in IT or information management, may be considered. The successful candidate must demonstrate sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office (2016, 2019 or 365), especially Excel, as well as technical expertise in data entry and classification, relational database interface and organizational practices, and related policies. Attention to detail is required. Knowledge of Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge; general remote-work tools (Webex, Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.); and/or general fundraising and alumni engagement principles would be assets.
SALARY $36,368 – $50,993 per annum (CUPE 1615)
