Experience (5-7 years) in a progressively responsible leadership position responsible for academic administration supplemented with completion of a graduate level degree, preferably in Business or other related area; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Advanced skills in analyzing and interpreting information and situations, conflict resolution, mediation and problem solving skills are required. Demonstrated strength in planning, organizational, interpersonal, communication and budgeting skills, and experience working effectively independently, as part of a team and with the public are required. Management skills, along with experience in human resources policy and procedure application, the ability to negotiate administrative and financial matters, and familiarity with the latest IT technology/solutions are required. Knowledge of the Faculty of Nursing including overall goals and mission and their fit with the strategic plan of the University is considered an asset.
