Merit Services Looking for Immigration Consultant at Ontario, Canada Full Time

Merit Services is currently looking for a Licensed Immigration Consultant for one of our clients. Our client provides a range of immigration services, including study, work, express entry, extensions, caregivers, LMIA applications, refugees, and appeals. The suitable candidate should have invaluable experience in immigration, strong immigration knowledge and experience. 

Job type:

Full-time, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Greet walk-in clients, take their inquiries, and forward them to the concerned department.

• Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.

• Respond to all emails and voicemails within 24-48 hours.

• Process immigration applications, fill out application forms, and collect and prepare documents supporting the application package.

• Prepare correspondence and legal submission letters as required for the client’s application and an immigration consultant.

• Monitor calendars and keep the case management software updated.

• Answer client queries, have regular follow-ups with clients about case progress and maintain a database for the same.

• Generate status reports by the end of every week or month.

• Keep clients informed by maintaining contact and communicating case progress.

• Maintain all mail records.

• Proactively keep up-to-date with changes in immigration laws, regulations, policies/procedures, and application processing times.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in an immigration firm.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Strong letter drafting skills.

• Previous administrative work experience would be an asset.

• Proven ability to examine risks and seek the potential for business opportunities.

• Reliability and time management.

• Team player.

• Must enjoy working and creating a fun environment.

• Ability to think creatively and challenge day-to-day operations to create better opportunities.
