What You’ll Do
- Support the Canada Pro Dealer channel with identifying, sourcing, and attracting both hourly and salaried talent. Responsible for the entire life cycle of talent acquisition, including progressive integrated recruitment solutions using multiple channels such as direct sourcing, industry networking, employee referrals, online/digital sourcing and targeted advertising.
- Act as a strategic Talent Acquisition Business Partner to hiring managers and the People & Culture Business Partner, through developing and maintaining working relationships with hiring managers, People & Culture Team to understand current and future recruitment needs and to determine the best sourcing strategies.
- Work closely with the People & Culture team and build strong relationships within the Canada Pro Dealer channel to influence and drive talent acquisition initiatives in the Channel and in alignment with cross Channel People Programs.
- Work with hiring managers to develop targeted recruitment strategies, including job posting optimization, digital and non-digital employment marketing, and recruitment campaign planning.
- Implement innovative talent acquisition strategies and stay on top of market trends and changes. Ensure every candidate has a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Recommend ideas & strategies related to recruitment that will be beneficial to Metrie’s Pro Dealer Channel growth.
- Being a Brand Ambassador for Metrie by participating in special projects/recruiting initiatives, job fairs including job fairs, site visits, partnership with local schools and community involvement.
Who You Are
- You’re results driven, dynamic, focused and enterprising Talent Acquisition professional, with experience as a recruiter.
- You have experience with hourly recruitment and demonstrated success in supporting full cycle recruitment process with a proven ability to build strong relationships with business leaders, and influence decisions related to recruitment and hiring practices.
- Ability to work with hiring managers at all levels to create customized hiring plans for a range of different roles both in the warehouse and in the office.
- You are comfortable working with an ATS and successfully integrating digital platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn.
- You have a passion for making the workplace better for your colleagues through people-focused solutions. You are flexible, collaborative and love to support your team in service of our cultural pillars – Ownership, Learning and One Team.
- You have delivered high-quality human resources services tailored to the needs of the business channel you support.
- You believe work can be FUN! And you’re intent on making the People & Culture team greater than the sum of its parts.
