About The Role
As a Senior Supply Chain Analyst, you’ll report to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain & Data Analytics. Your responsibilities will include inventory forecasting, coordinating program launches, and collaborating with our Supply Chain Specialists and Analysts. You’ll be a key part of our team, supporting purchase orders, inventory analysis, and MRP assessments.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate monthly MRP (Material Requirements Planning) demands and oversee order requisites.
- Take the lead in launching new programs within the supply chain.
- Coordinate with specialized personnel to achieve program objectives.
- Act as the representative of the Supply Chain team in product development for program launches.
- Offer data assistance for the allocation of inventory.
- Determine the most advantageous purchase quantities for various product categories.
- Recognize and resolve issues related to inventory availability.
- Collaborate with suppliers to enhance shipment punctuality and fill rates.
- Maintain inventory levels in accordance with the budget.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements.
- Provide analytical support for inquiries from the Customer Service department.
- Foster partnerships with vendors to ensure a smooth product flow.
- Spearhead improvements in processes.
- Cultivate and sustain relationships to drive our business forward.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or College diploma, supply chain specialization a plus
- 3-5 years of supply chain, inventory management, or procurement experience
- Familiarity with corporate ERP systems
- Self-motivated team player
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Visio
- Automotive or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Physical Demands And Working Conditions
- Hybrid work arrangement (2 days on-site)
- Occasional travel between Mississauga and North York offices
