About Our Client
Construction Manager / Builder of Light & Heavy Industrial, Commercial and Institutional Structures
Job Description
- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of sub trades on site on a daily basis;
- Site responsibility for on time on budget construction;
- Coordinate mobilization/demobilization of resources;
- Ensure quality build on the following: building layout, interior and exterior wall layout, workmanship, grades, hardscaping, soft scaping, parking lot;
- Track progress on site daily to meet work schedules and budgets;
- Prepare and deliver progress reports, quantities to Project Managers and Management on regular basis;
- Build three week look ahead schedules.
- Liaise with various consultants, government inspectors, architects, engineers, sub-contractors, suppliers;
- Identify any scope changes;
- Coordinating with tenant general contractors, sub trades, timelines;
- May be ‘on call’;
- Ensure and enforce compliance to all company, client and legislated Safety policies and procedures;
- Any additional duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

The Successful Applicant
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience as an ICI Construction Site Superintendent
- Experience with large-scale Commercial, Institutional, and/or Mid/High-Rise Residential construction projects
- Schools, LTC facilities, Residencies, Condos, and other Commercial, Institutional, and/or Residential construction projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and regulations
- High degree of organization and commitment
- Present well to clients and other stakeholders
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards
What’s on Offer
Our client is offering a competitive salary range of $130,000 to $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
