About The Opportunity
As the Technical Specialist, based at our Canada Place office in Vancouver, you will play a vital support role for customers of our exploration and mining solutions, Micromine Origin and Micromine Beyond. Being at the forefront of client interactions, your work will solidify customer relationships and ensure their satisfaction with Micromine’s products and services.
Reporting to the Technical Support Team Lead (Mining), your key responsibilities will include:
- Scoping, configuring, and deploying Micromine Origin and Micromine Beyond for customers.
- Providing telephone, email, and face-to-face support.
- Ensuring enhancement requests, bugs, and development issues are raised and resolved.
- Providing geology domain expertise during the product development cycle.
- BETA testing new versions and products to check improved functionality.
- Assist with the development of knowledge base articles and training collateral.
About You
You will have a background within exploration or mining geology positions, including experience in field-based roles.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
- A tertiary qualification in the earth sciences or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with general-purpose exploration and / or mining software.
- Whilst not essential, exposure to database design and modelling would be useful.
