Our client in Peel Region is actively looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team.

Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk

Location: Peel Region, ON

Job Type: Temporary

Salary: $20 to $22 per hour

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Collection of past due accounts via email and phone.
• Enter daily communications with clients on AR Log system
• Prepare Invoice Disputes on AR Log system, when invoices are disputed by clients
• Enter expected payment information in AR Log system, to generate the Cash Position reports.
• Deposit cheques (client payments and miscellaneous) and post
• Post daily client EFT payments in Accounting System
• Provide copies of non-client payments to appropriate departments.
• Prepare the daily bank report, with backup
• Print and mail/e-mail monthly Account Statements to clients
• Provide assistance with other duties as requested by management.

Job Requirements

• Good knowledge of basic accounting and math computing.
• A minimum 3 years accounts receivable experience.
• Post secondary education.
• Strong computer and keyboarding skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and command of the English language.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision in a team-oriented environment.
