Miles HR has an opportunity for a Receptionist / Office Administrator to join an established organization located in the New Westminster Area for a 1-2 month contract. You will keep the front desk and reception area running smoothly, greet clients and internal customers, direct phone calls, and provide additional administrative support as required. If you have at least two years of Reception / Administration experience, and enjoy working in a collaborative, busy and supportive role, then this could be an excellent opportunity for you!
This is a contract opportunity with possibility of extension.
About the Role:
- Respond to telephone inquiries and direct calls
- Greet all clients and guests as they arrive and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain expert knowledge of the organization’s services and programs
- Book meetings and boardrooms, ensuring the space is set-up or video conferencing equipment is prepared
- Coordinating travel arrangements
- Administrative duties such as data entry, photocopying, and filing
- Support other departments with administrative projects
- Other duties as required
About You:
- Minimum 2 years’ working experience in Administration and Reception
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work in a fast paced and busy environment with high volume walk-ins
- Flexible and adaptable
