We are seeking a Administrative professional to join our Norwich team.
As an integral part of the administrative team, you will be responsible for providing great customer service and a positive client experience, while supporting the accountant team members. If you are detail orientated, like some variety in your work and enjoy interacting with clients and other community professionals, this position is for you.
We are seeking an individual who has developed great relationships within the Tillsonburg community and with the local professional network. This position is a full-time opportunity Monday to Friday.
The successful applicant will support the accounting team members and leadership in:
· Contacting existing clients, obtaining/receiving documentation required for file preparation and scheduling meetings on behalf of the firm
· Organizing the client files and taking a proactive approach to ensure that all information is received in advance.
· Utilizing templates prepare client letters and documentation
· Preparing client files for upcoming meetings; ensuring that all paperwork is completed and that client files are complete
· Provide administrative assistance (taking notes) throughout the client meeting to ensure all actions are implemented post meeting and assisting with such actions
· Meeting with team members to review files in order to support the team in ensuring that client’s expectations are met and exceeded
· Coordinate and track office reports
· Handle the set up and ensure successful client seminars, client events and marketing activities
· Provide backup coverage for vacations and absences in the administrative of Delhi or Tillsonburg offices.
Skills You Offer:
· College diploma in Office Administration or a related field an asset
· Prior Experience is not required but a solid administrative experience supporting a professional team is an bonus
· Proven ability to take the initiative to quickly learn and grasp new skills in order to perform the administrative function effectively. We can train you on how to grow into this position and be successful
· Previous experience in the financial sector an asset
· Solid computer knowledge (MS Office) (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computer savy in learning new industry specific technology
· Excellent people skills in interacting with both internal team and client interfacing
· Personal telephone skills
· Exceptional organizational skills
· The ability to work as part of team, while taking ownership and responsibility of assigned tasks with minimal supervision
