FWHP is situated in Thunder Bay and a branch of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport . The Fort is a multi-component destination tourism attraction that provides top-level cultural heritage, entertainment and educational experiences for residents and visitors to northwestern Ontario. As a living history attraction, the Fort depicts the fur trade activities of the North West Company from 1803 to 1821. The heritage program features interactions with costumed staff, dramas, demonstrations, tours, special events, and education programs. Facilities include a gift shop, ecotourism, Indigenous and overnight experiences, a resource library, banquet and conference facilities, and picnic area with access for persons with disabilities.
We are seeking an experienced individual to perform a variety of manual labour tasks and grounds keeping functions.
