Mint Pharmaceuticals Inc. Looking for Senior Financial Analyst at Mississauga, ON Full Time

Position Summary: Sr. Financial Analyst, FP&A will report to and work closely with the Vice President of Finance & Controller by providing financial support, guidance and insightful analysis to help make strategic, data-driven decisions that will have an impact on our growth and profitability for years to come. This individual will be instrumental in helping build out and design the FP&A function.

Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to:

• Analyze and interpret Financial Statements entailing periodic comparison and variance analysis
• Lead the development of annual budget and long-term planning process and analyzing actuals against budget/forecast and prior year
• Develop financial forecast, analyze expenditure trends including headcounts and capital expenditure, recommend appropriate budget levels and ensure expenditure control
• Cash flow management on a weekly basis, forecasting inflow and outflow of funds for revenue, expense and capital items
• Leverage business knowledge to prepare and monitor financial and operational KPI’s/business drivers and metrics, understanding trends and provide insight
• Maintain effective financial models and reports, create dashboards and prepare management reporting packages which includes commentary, meaningful insights and supports queries for strategic analysis, variances and KPIs
• Prepare and analyze departmental financial performance statements to ascertain revenue and cost from specific streams
• Ad Hoc financial report creation and analysis as required by management

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years of progressive experience in a FP&A role with in-depth analysis capability
• University degree and a CPA designation or close to obtaining the CPA designation.
• Ability to work with a large volume of data.
• Experience with SAP accounting system would be an added advantage

• Highly Proficient in intermediate to advanced Excel, Word and Power point presentations
• Solid communication and organizational skills with ability to meet a variety of deadlines
• Takes initiative, able to work independently and as an integral team member.

Salary: $67,509.00-$96,245.00 per year
