PURPOSE

Perform financial and accounting duties as well as administer and maintain the day-to-day activities related to accounts receivable transactions and collections.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Accounting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Full cycle accounts receivables

-Process Dealer billing

-Prepare AR invoices for Commercial Fleet and Dealer demo sales

-Complete system cash application and weekly review of auction sales to ensure accurate transmission of funds and auction data

-Prepare AR reconciliations

-Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual journal entries

-Support internal and external audit as required

-Act as back up for AP

-Assist the Fleet department as needed

-Support Bank reconciliations

-Prepare Monthly statements to customers

-Perform and follow-up on outstanding accounts to ensure past due balances will be collected

TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PROFILE

· 1-2 years general accounting with journal entry experience

· BA/BS degree in accounting or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
