Make an impact with our National PubCo team as a Project and Initiatives Manager, Assurance & Accounting – Public Companies (PubCo). This diverse team of professionals effectively drives change and successful outcomes while ensuring activities remain on track, on scope and within budget. As a trusted advisor, you’ll identify and interpret business needs, plan and organize resources and develop procedures and schedules that ensure deliverables meet MNP’s commitment to quality and client service excellence. You will build on your focus and knowledge of project management and continue to develop relationships and business acumen in the PubCo niche. Under the direction of the National Leader, PubCo, you will participate in PubCo’s deliveries and support our client management activities.

Responsibilities
Manage project logistics including maintaining and monitoring project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets and expenditures
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to identify project objectives, confirm strategies to achieve objectives, and drive initiatives forward
Facilitate communication to/from Regional Managing Partners (RMPs), Regional PubCo Leaders, PubCo executive and Client Group Leaders
Collect and analyze data to produce complex reports in support of National PubCo Leaders as requested
Review, evaluate and distribute priority correspondence for leaders
Facilitate projects and provide support to National marketing manager: to ensure accessibility of marketing collateral; assist national marketing lead in coordination of market assessments; and other marketing duties as assigned
Monitor budgets and deliverables in conjunction with leadership team
Design and develop high-quality deliverables including templates, letters, reports, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, Excel workbooks and other correspondence materials
Manage agendas for key meetings for the PubCo Leadership Team and Executive Team
Participate in meetings, document and follow up on important actions and decisions
Record minutes at various meetings and distribute or archive them accordingly
Maintain effective, cooperative working relationships and liaise with internal (Marketing, Accounting etc.) and external stakeholders (consultants, regulatory bodies etc.)
Work with key leaders and/or regional support leaders to ensure timely delivery of their commitments e.g., reports
Coordinate logistics with regional executive assistants and administrative support lead to schedule internal and external meetings, seminars, workshops, events, appointments, travel arrangements and other business activities; prepare agendas as necessary
Provide various administrative support, as required
Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches in order to improve work processes
Demonstrated ability to anticipate the needs of the leadership team
Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses and industry
Hone your knowledge of the PubCo services industry regulatory and business environments
Comply with all expectations associated with privacy and confidentiality of records
Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
Skills and Experience/Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Post-secondary education in business, project management or other related field is an asset
2 to 3 years of project coordination experience and/or working in an executive assistant role
1 year of management experience is an asset
5+ years of experience supporting high-level executives in a fast-paced work environment
Demonstrated ability in MS Office programs and experience working with calendar management tools; Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in Project Management software – e.g. MS Project is an asset
Experience leading a project and leading multiple in parallel
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive, “service-first” attitude combined with superior interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to work independently on projects, with tight deadlines, under minimal supervision Understanding and experience in the professional services industry
Professional services environment experience is considered an asset
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
