What you’ll do:
You will take ownership of recruiting efforts at Mogo and build out our Talent Acquisition Team. As our first dedicated Talent Acquisition leader, you will bring your proven and specialized experience in recruitment and dive into our open reqs . While doing so you’ll help develop strategy and processes to ensure Mogo is as effective and efficient as possible in bringing in high caliber talent.
We have a dynamic technology-first environment with a mix of role types in a variety of business units. We have an international presence and have moved to a digital first work force. You’ll get to work across the business with the autonomy to be creative in your approach for each area.
You’ll be responsible for full cycle recruiting with support from our current team of People Business Partners (PBP’s). We’ll be looking to rapidly build operational excellence in recruiting so this is a rare chance to grow a team.
What you’ll need:
A proven track record in full cycle Talent Acquisition in candidate favoured job market.
Experience in hiring for a variety of type and level of roles
An understanding and experience with recruiting for Engineering roles related to software development.
The ability to develop processes, implement best practices and adapt strategy to a fast paced changing job market. Lot’s of room to get creative and innovate!
To be data driven and comfortable working within and creating KPI’s for you and your team
Experience managing a results driven team of Talent Acquisition specialists
Strong administration and organization skills in a fast paced environment, bonus if it’s tech or a startup!
Good experience with various online tools and databases with the ability to suggest, leverage and pick up new technology quickly.
Excellent communication skills with natural energy and ability to network and build successful relationships.
Strong nose for talent with success in finding the diamond in the rough
