We are seeking a Working Foreman to join our team! You will oversee the activities of a team of skilled trades, as well as perform renovation work yourself.
Monaco Interiors is a 20 years old Design and Renovation company. We are searching for a knowledgeable working foreman to join our team of designers and skilled trades. The right candidate will have plenty of personal working experience in rough and finish carpentry, knowledge of basic plumbing, hvac and electrical to ensure that professional trades are meeting our standards and code requirements. Knowledge of building codes and the ability to read architectural, structural and engineering plans a must.
Must fully understand the construction process in both the renovation and addition segments of residential work. MUST UNDERSTAND CANADIAN building methods and have a good handle on the English Language.
Someone who is looking to grow and eventually lead their own team, and manage multiple jobsites, but can perform the work themselves, would be a great fit.
Must have their own tools, a working vehicle and valid drivers license. Truck an asset.
This position requires hands on labour and the ability to build both structural and complete finishings such as trims, doors, and other finish carpentry.
Salary is based on experience, knowledge and performance, starting at a lower segment and revised within three months depending on proven qualities and skills. There is a three month probationary period.
