You ensure that customer plans are developed and executed by supporting the delivery of strategies and tactics for growth. You understand the business metrics and financial drivers needed to unlock profitable growth for Mondelēz International and our customers and work with key account managers to implement plans to deliver our annual target.

How you will contribute

Develop gold priority calendar, lead communication to sales team and report back on progress and opportunities.

End to End ownership of National Sales Meeting

Build and implement channel strategy in line with Mondelez Strategic Plan

Sales Lead for ‘One Plan’ annual business planning process in order to build strong, robust plans that drive confidence and opportunity.

Translate deep shopper understanding into robust and meaningful in-store solutions that meet key business objectives and are aligned

Lead the sales focus behind brand acceleration plans.

Ownership of MAPPS (in-store condition) scorecard

Leads the development of the channel strategy and influence trade marketing of the category annual plans (contract process)

Leads the business planning meeting where the sales quotas are built in order to accomplish the annual plans based on relevant building blocks

Plays a leadership role within the multi categories teams by leading, providing accurate and relevant channel point of sale information that will lead to find business opportunities such as innovations, customer promotions, portfolio, pricing, etc. that will lead to achieve multi categories targets

Knowledge & Skills

University Degree, MBA an asset

Demonstrated working experience > Category Planning, Trade Marketing and Sales / Commercial required

Knowledge of AC Nielsen required and Sales Data Bases an advantage

Drive for results skills: proactivity and ambition to address Perfect Store opportunities.

Strong Analytical skills and Customer Oriented: able to build selling stories based on market and customer situation

Minimum of 5 years of overall experience in FMCG/CPG; Marketing and/or Sales (Category Planning, Trade Marketing, Account Management, POS Management).

Demonstrated work experience in a high matrix organization.

Customer / channel reviews: Monitor KPI’s to ensure Health & Performance

Sales & Marketing planning briefings & business reviews

Capability & training / development programs on Perfect Store

More about this role

Successful candidate must be highly influential with all internal stakeholders along the full end-to-end value chain. Robust knowledge on the Canadian grocery retail landscape is a must. The role is instrumental in supporting the head of Sales Strategy on day-to-day operations and must have strong organizational skills in managing requests from across the diverse categories and points of contact at Mondelez.
