Montessori Children’s House Academy Campus I and III is looking for professionals willing to learn about and enhance our Fully Implemented Montessori Program.
We have a position for a Montessorian in our:
Casita Program – 19 months up to 3 years of age – Campus III – 46, 4307 – 130th Ave SE
Casa Program – 2.5 up to the age of 6 – Campus I – 108, 2411 – 4th Street NW
We are looking for Child Development Professionals who are looking for a new and wonderful challenge and experience with a reputable Montessori organization.
The individuals must hold their AMI or AMS Montessori Certification. The individual will also have experience in a reputable Montessori School for 3 years as a Montessorian and has a passion to work with young children.
We are looking for the right individuals who possess professionalism, strong work ethics, the willingness to make a personal investment to MCHA, Montessori, the team, and the children and has a Montessori soul, and great respect for young children.
The successful candidate must be coachable, a collaborator, hard-working, and can invest in the MCHA vision.
Qualifications:
Must hold an AMI or AMS Montessori certification for the age group that they will be working with.
Level 2 or 3 Early Childhood Educator certification in Alberta
3 years classroom experience
Current First Aid certification
Current and valid Criminal Record Check
Flexibility to attend after hour functions such as team meetings, parent nights and etc
Qualifications of the Montessorian:
Leadership skills
Strong programming abilities
Motivated
Self-initiating
Ability to plan through curriculum
Material Making

Prepared to invest their time and energy into the position, the team, and first and foremost the children. When working with Children and in Montessori, it is more than an 8 to 5 job it is a career to be proud of. There are about 2 evenings per month such as parent education, science fair, staff meetings and etc. Montessorians work 8 hours 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Salary: $3,400.00 /month plus the government top-up wage based on your Alberta certification.
