In addition, the Director of Sales will nurture and grow the sales team and implement coaching and development programs focused on achieving excellence and developing individuals.
Strong emphasis will be placed on delivering an innovative product and disrupting the market to gain market share with the eClinical arena, and strong collaboration with Marketing, Product, Engineering, eTMF Services and Customer Experience will be required.

Job Description:
Implement and oversee effective and optimal sales processes to ensure that the organization is able to meet it sales objectives.
Work as part of the leadership team to develop effective business strategies to achieve corporate objectives
Collaborate with the Director of Growth to align marketing, demand generation and growth initiatives with sales activities
Collaborate with the leadership of product and engineering to ensure alignment with commercialization and product development strategies and activities
Manage solution consulting to ensure that our product is presented in the best possible light to clients and that client needs are fully understood and aligned with product capabilities
Manage the Sales budget and objectives in collaboration with the CFO
Develop annual sales plans and oversee their execution
Provide and evolve processes related to talent acquisition, employee development, employee onboarding, performance monitoring, employee growth and mentorship, and the development and implementation of strategic management policies and procedures.
Set employee objectives and perform annual employee appraisals for department subordinates.
Provide Corporate reporting and metrics including identification of discrepancies
Experience and Soft Skills:
At least 5 years’ experience in leading a sales and marketing team within a B2B technology environment
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Outstanding management, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
Outstanding written and oral skills in English, knowledge of French an asset
Solutions oriented with ability to handle multiple competing priorities and skill in managing workloads.
Experience in growing teams within growing businesses an asset
Knowledge of SaaS metrics and financials as asset
Good interpersonal and communication skills, team-player, ability to integrate well with others and capacity to lead by influence.
Possible domestic and international travel.
Written and spoken fluency in English is essential.
Competency in French is an asset.
Knowledge of the Life Sciences industry is a plus but not a requirement however, a keen interest to learn and incorporate industry knowledge is a key focus of this position.
