IT Infrastructure Engineer

MPA has been retained by a leading Insurance company HQ’d in Montreal who are leading the way in the InsurTech space. They are currently building an innovative product that will transform the Insurance sector. This position is the perfect opportunity to be a part of this innovation. They are recruiting an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their team on a remote basis.
As a IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be playing a pivotal role in helping design and build their platform.
In a typical work week, you would :
- Participate in the planning and implementation of ongoing digital transformation projects.
- Support and maintain server and endpoint infrastructure.
- Assist in the management of network infrastructure and the configuration of security tools.
- Ensure the integrity and availability of services and data through verification of backups and testing of disaster recovery plans.
- Provide Level 2 support to users, acting as an escalation point for incidents and resolving a wide range of service requests.
What you bring.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in IT Administration or related.
- 5+ years’ experience in supporting enterprise scale environments and user bases.
- Experience in managing both on-premises (VMWare) and cloud (Azure) server environments.
- Strong experience with backup and disaster recovery strategies in those environments (VEEAM and Azure Site Recovery).
- Experience in remote management of endpoints using Microsoft Endpoint Manager for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS devices.
- Experience administering an Office 365 environment and related productivity tools.
- Hands on experience with network administration (e.g., Firepower, Meraki, Fortinet, Umbrella).
- Bilingual (English & French, Oral & Written).
- Full driving license and ability to travel between offices in Quebec as required.
The salary range for this role is 100-120k + Benefits.
